Theresa Worrall

Theresa has been a part of HALMA since 2013, when she and her family first sponsored a child. In 2018, Theresa made her first visit to Uganda with Margaret Bagley and fell in love with the place and the people. She agreed to work with Margaret to register HALMA as a UK charity and to become one of the trustees.

Theresa believes that the work of HALMA is important as it gives children and young people the opportunity to have a stable future through education, employment and a faith in Jesus. As both a sponsor and a trustee, Theresa understands the importance in knowing that all sponsorship funds are spent prayerfully and faithfully, and in the importance of communication between sponsors and the sponsored children. Theresa looks forward to watching HALMA, and the children we sponsor, continue to grow with the guidance of God.
